Currently on 4.4.2 kitkat.nnNow let's get on with the review: nnI (anyone) would give 5 stars for its build quality and premium feel. I was fully aware what I was going to buy and use as my daily driver. But people giving importance to battery life, external audio and flash, beware.

Hats off to the engineers at Sony for creating a literal benchmark for Android phones (at least for this year), but I bet they must have thought about this. With so much money in, you can't let yourself compromise on anything. And I agree that the camera does not require a flash, still an LED flash would have been a needful addition. Needless to say, your Blu Ray movies, 3D games and overall feel of the GUI will be like smooth as butter.nnI only wonder WHY in the World, WHY did Sony not even bother to add an extra speaker to the phone? It has a monaural sound (only one speaker). Only these specs are enough to justify that this phablet is nothing but a Multimedia Package.

Trust me guys, I never wrote reviews on Flipkart ever, but this one really deserves it.nFirst of, this phone has a 1080p screen with Sony's Triluminos and OptiContrast display (they normally use it in their LED Televisions), also Adreno 330 (stock frequency as 320) with Snapdragon series 800 chipset which packs 4 Krait cores at clocked 2.2 GHz each. The Xperia Z Ultra is powered by 3000mAH battery. On the connectivity front, the device offers 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, NFC and 4G LTE. This Sony device has 16GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card. Like the Xperia Z and Xperia Z1, it also allows users to take photos under 3 feet of water. Sony Xperia Z Ultra poses an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera with features like autofocus, touch-to-focus, image stabilisation, face detection, geo-tagging, High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode and an Image Viewer. For a better graphics rendering, the device integrates an Adreno 330 GPU. The device is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, along with 2GB RAM.

The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, upgradeable to Android 4.3, with a KitKat update on the way. Just like premium Xperia devices, it also offers waterproof and dustproof abilities. If I need to quickly call 911, for example, I might not remember which mobile device I’m logged in on (or I might not have access to that device at the moment) and then I have to wait to log in, etc. This is NOT safe for us in an emergency situation. After a few attempts to log in on both, I realized I could only be logged in on one at a time. But I noticed that my iPhone then automatically logged me out. So I waited a bit, and then was able to successfully log in on my iPhone. Thinking it might be my iPad, I went to my iPhone, and tried there. Yesterday, trying to log back in on my iPad, I ran into persistent “server down” messages. I’ve noticed that sometimes I’m logged out of Sorenson. I have the app on both my iPad and my iPhone. The service is generally great! But I do have a couple of issues that could potentially be a major problem during an emergency.
